Plans for the 12th annual Fannywood Day are well underway, and once again there will be something for everyone. The children´s amusement area will again have a huge array of activities, with some new features for older children, fun contests for the whole family and a variety of vendors and food suppliers. Live entertainment and a DJ will provide ample music and entertainment throughout the day.
The Classic Car Show will be back again this year with over 50 cars on display and many of our familiar contests will be part of the Fannywood tradition.
The Pie Baking Contest will be held again this year with South Street Café sponsoring this crowd favorite. Our newest contest is sure to .freeze your mind. as we invite one and all to Double Dipper for the first ever ice cream eating contest!
Individuals and nonprofit organizations wishing to be a vendor, to promote their organization or sell products can still register for a spot for the downtown Street Fair by submitting the online vendor form.
The 2007 Fannywood Day with start off with our 2nd annual "Parade on Wheels." Children, 10 years of age and under are invited to decorate any non-motorized item on wheels, e.g. bicycles, wagons, scooters, carriages, etc. and join us for the kickoff parade that will begin at 11:45 a.m.
If you´d like to become a part of Fanwood´s tradition, volunteers are needed to staff the entertainment area for two hour shifts. Please contact chair, Bruce Zakarin at 908-889-7247 or by email at
