Plans for the 15th annual Fanny Wood Day are well underway, and once again there will be something for everyone. The children´s amusement area will again have a huge array of activities, with some new features for older children, fun contests for the whole family and a variety of vendors and food suppliers. Children can "bounce" to their hearts desire all day for the nominal cost of $10!
 
   The Classic Car Show will be back again this year with over 75 cars on display and many of our familiar contests will be part of the Fanny Wood tradition.
 
   In addition to our entertaining DJ who will be playing music throughout the day, local musicians Cover to Cover will be on hand to perform some of your favorite tunes on our downtown stage. This group was widely enjoyed by our record breaking crowd last year..
 
   Fanny Wood Day is well known for its unique contest and fun activities. We will once again have several contests for young and old alike to enjoy. Returning for another year will be our annual Ice Cream Eating Contest that is sure to create "brain freeze" to all who enter. This event is sponsored by Double Dipper and is a real treat for all that participate.
 
   For those handy men and women, boys and girls why not construct an original birdhouse for our 4th annual Birdhouse building and decorating contest.
 
   The Bubble Gum Blowing Contest, has been revamped so our bubble gum blowers can participate all day to see who can blow the biggest and baddest bubble!
 
   Individuals and nonprofit organizations wishing to be a vendor, to promote their organization or sell products can still register for a spot for the downtown Street Fair by submitting the vendor form and the Ad Journal form.
 
   Come join in all the fun and enjoy good food, meet up with old friends, hear some great entertainment
