WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:12A-1, et seq, the Mayor and Council on November 8, 2001 referred Ordinance 01-24-R , also known as the Redevelopment Plan Ordinance, and the Redevelopment Plan dated November 2001 to the Planning Board for its consideration;

WHEREAS, the Planning Board held hearings regarding the Redevelopment Plan, considered the Redevelopment Plan and provided its recommendations to the Mayor and Council regarding the Redevelopment Plan in memoranda dated December 18, 2001 and December 27, 2001;

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council reviewed the memoranda of the Planning Board containing its fourteen recommendations at its January 3, 2002 agenda meeting in conjunction with the Borough’s Planner, Richard Preiss, and Borough Attorney Wilfred P. Coronato, Esq.;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Fanwood that it hereby adopts the attached memorandum dated January 10, 2002 in response to the fourteen recommendations of the Planning Board and asks that the Clerk transmit the attached memorandum to the Planning Board.

This is to certify that the above is a true and exact copy of a resolution adopted by the Mayor and Council on January 10, 2002.
